We’re practically beside ourselves with excitement and we simply can’t wait to see you at the St. Louis Kidney Walk! Don’t forget: we’ll be kicking off the celebration at 11:00 a.m. at Westport Plaza. The opening ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m. Frequently Asked Questions
   

1. Where is the walk located? The St. Louis Kidney Walk takes place on the west side of Westport Plaza directly next to World Wide Technology (1 World Wide Way St. Louis, MO 63146) 2. What time should I be at the walk? Registration for the Kidney Walk starts at 11:00 AM- registration, snacks, health and wellness tents, entertainment, and more will be going on prior to the opening ceremony which will begin at 12:30PM before walkers take off on the walk route at 1:00PM.

3. Where should I park? Complimentary parking is available in the World Wide Technology Parking Garage adjacent to the Walk site. The garage is located at 1 World Wide Way St. Louis, MO 63146. To avoid road closures on the day of the walk, please use westbound Westline Industrial Drive to enter the plaza. You will pass a Mcdonald's on your left, and follow that road until you reach the garage.

4. What should I do with any cash or checks when we arrive? If you have donations (cash or check) to drop off the morning of the walk please proceed to the welcome tent and one of our volunteers can help you. Additionally, you can fill out a paper registration forfor anyone who is walking with you who did not yet register online. 

5. Who gets a t-shirt, and where should we pick them up? Every individual walker who raises $100 will receive a Kidney Walk t-shirt. Walkers who have raised $1,000 or more will earn a special Top Fundraiser quarter zip. Please proceed to the t-shirt pick-up area in the welcome tent and the volunteer will check your name and get your well-deserved t-shirt. Wear it proudly, you earned it!

6. What is a good place for our team to meet? Great team meeting areas are near the stage or near the NKF Arch.

7. Will there be food and beverages at the walk? Yes! We have a number of in-kind donors who have provided snacks and beverages for the Walk. Please come by our hospitality tables to try out their products. There will also be a food truck serving food for purchase.

8. Is the walk handicap accessible? Yes, the course is handicap accessible.

9. Are dogs welcome? Yes! Dogs have kidneys too! Pets must be kept on a leash and must be picked up after.

10. Is the walk rain or shine? All Kidney Walks are rain or shine. If there are extenuating circumstances, NKF will alert Walkers of any change in plans with an email to all registered Walkers.

11. Is there a hashtag I should use on social media? Yes! We love to see your photos! Please use hashtag #KidneyWalk to show off your orange pride!
