Aetna/CVS is committed to providing individuals, employers, health care professionals, producers, and others with innovative benefits, products, and services. Aetna/CVS’s National Team is centered in our Pittsburgh Kidney Walk and has expanded to many cities where employees show up to walk with the kidney community.
Led by VP and NKF National Board President Anthony Tuggle, AT&T joined the Kidney Walk as a National Team in 2017 and has grown in leaps and bounds in a short amount of time. AT&T teams won Most Team Spirit for multiple walks in 2018.
Led by NKF Board Members, Art Pasquerella and Joe Mullen, these two teams work together to support Kidney Walks where they have properties across the country. These teams are often filled with employees and residents alike, walking together with and for kidney patients.
As a Kidney Walk National Team, Konica Minolta is making kidney health a priority for their employees and their families. With every step they take, Konica Minolta teams are bringing their passion for innovation and dedication to improving the quality of society for all.
Back in 2016, LogistiCare was the first National Team to raise more than $100,000. They have grown and enhanced our partnership every year, including becoming a National Multi-Market Sponsor in 2018 and hosting annual Drive for Dialysis events at their headquarters in Atlanta.
New to Kidney Walk in 2020, Moonstone Nutrition is a welcomed addition to our team. The company has embraced the Kidney Walk this year with the goal of supporting our patients, their caregivers and medical professionals.
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. joined forces with the National Kidney Foundation as a National Team in 2018 through continued growing participation within their 2nd District on the East Coast. They have designated the Kidney Walk as a key to supporting one of their own health initiatives and not only raise money for the events within their areas, but also help educate their membership and communities about kidney disease.
Based in Redwood City, CA, Relypsa has grown from a local partnership with the Bay Area Walks into a National Team and National Multi-Market Sponsor. National Team leaders, Todd Ungard and Robert Taylor, have often been among the top 10 individual Kidney Walk fundraisers across the country. In 2018, Relypsa’s parent company, Vifor Pharma, led our first International Kidney Walk Team when they walked at their headquarters in Zurich.
Satellite Healthcare is a long-time National Partner of the Kidney Walk. Satellite supports the chronic kidney disease community through an enduring commitment to philanthropy and community service, as well as shows up at walks all over the country to walk with and for kidney patients.
Transplant Genomics joined the Kidney Walk in 2020 as a National Multi-Market Partner. Their team has embraced the LaceUp movement and are looking forward to walking with everyone this Fall.
