9:00 AM – Registration opens. You can find the map, the day-of schedule, and refreshments to help
9:10 AM – Opening Ceremonies begin at the stage
9:30 AM- Zumba warm up by Dee Leonard
10:00 AM – Ribbon Cutting to end opening ceremonies and being walk!
1:00 PM – Walk ends and clean up begins

Where is the walk located?
Where is the walk located?
It will take place at the Pavilion at WinterPlace Park in Salisbury, MD.
What time should I be at the walk?
Registration for the Kidney Walk begins at 9:00 AM. Before the walk kicks off at 10:00 AM, enjoy snacks, entertainment, health and wellness tents, and more. The opening ceremony will begin at 9:10 AM, so be sure to arrive early and take part in the fun
Where should I park?
Parking is available at the pavilion and you will see plenty of signs guiding you to the parking area.
What should I do with any cash or checks when I arrive?
If you have donations to turn in that morning, please proceed to the registration tent and one of our volunteers can help you. We can also take credit card donations.
Who gets a t-shirt and where should I pick it up?
Walkers who raise $100 or more will receive an official Kidney Walk t-shirt. Shirts will be mailed directly to participants and should arrive within three weeks after the event. Please note that t-shirts will not be distributed on walk day.
Where is a good place for our team to meet?
Great meeting places are near the NKF Arch or near the Team Photo Area.
Will there be food and beverages at the walk?
Yes, we will have light snacks and water at the walk.
Is the walk handicap accessible?
Yes, the event and the entire walking route is handicap accessible, but it is not a paved route and does go through the woods. There is a shorter route around the pond that is completely paved.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes! Dogs are welcome, we just ask that you keep your pet on a leash and clean up after them.
What Should I Bring?
Your enthusiasm and bug spray! We are near the woods and want everyone to be protected.
Is the walk rain or shine?
All Kidney Walks are rain or shine. If there are extenuating circumstance, NKF staff will alert walkers of any changes in plan in an email to all registered participants.
Is there a hashtag I should use on social media?
Yes! We love seeing your photos! Please use hashtag #KidneyWalk to show off your orange pride!
