We are excited to be walking together once again for the 2022 New Jersey Kidney Walk and we hope you walk with us!

By participating in the 2022 New Jersey Kidney Walk you’ll let others know they’re not alone. Together, we’ll come together with a common purpose and walk for those who can’t. Caring knows no distance; one simple step can change a life.
8:30am – Event Kicks Off 
9:00am – Zumba Warm Up
9:30am – Opening Ceremony
10:00am – Cut the Ribbon and Start Walking!

Walk Day FAQs:
  1. What is the Walk location?
    Hamilton Veterans Park. For GPS you must use: 2206 Kuser Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690.
  2. What time should I be at the Walk?
    Walkers should arrive by 8:30 a.m. Zumba, snacks, mission tent and more will be ongoing until our opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
  3. Where should I park?
    There are lots available inside the park grounds. 
  4. What should I do with any cash or checks when we arrive?
    Walkers who need to turn in donations should visit the welcome tent and turn in any remaining cash and checks. Additionally, anyone who is not yet registered can do so by visiting
  5. Who gets a T-shirt, and when will I get it?
    Every walker who individually raises $100 will receive a Kidney Walk T-shirt mailed to their home address. If you raised $100 but did not receive your shirt yet, you can expect it a few weeks after Walk Day.
  6. What is a good place for our team to meet?
    Great team meeting places are next to/in front of the stage or by the food area.
  7. When does the welcome tent close?
    Online registration will be open until noon on Friday, September 16th. Anyone not yet registered can sign up and make a donation at the welcome tent the morning of the walk.
  8. How long is the walk?
    The walk route 3.1 miles with optional one mile turnaround. 
  9. Will there be food and beverages at the Walk?
    Yes! Fruit and water will be complimentary at the food tent. We do recommend eating breakfast and drinking fluids before the Walk, as snacks are on a first come, first serve basis.
  10. Is the Walk handicap accessible?
  11. Are dogs welcome?
    All well-behaved, leash trained dogs are welcome.
  12. Is the Walk rain or shine?
    All Kidney Walks are rain or shine. If there are extenuating circumstances, your local NKF staff partner will have a system in place to alert you of changes.
  13. Is there a hashtag I should use on social media?
    Yes! We love to see your photos. Please use hashtag #KidneyWalk to show off your orange pride!
Unable to attend on Sunday, September 18, 2022?
No problem! This year we are offering options to your participation – join us in person or walk your way on your own time.  No matter how you choose to walk we will all be united by our belief in the need for better care and longer lives for kidney patients – for YOU and the ones you love.

COVID-19 Alert
Your health and safety continue to be our number one priority. NKF’s staff, board of directors and healthcare advisors are closely monitoring the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.  We are currently planning to host this event in-person on Sunday, September 18, 2022.  Our safety procedures were created in accordance with state, local and federal guidelines. If a change to the current program needs to be made, we will provide you with detailed information on those changes and how we’ll be connecting the kidney community in that situation.
Please Note: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, people with underlying medical conditions and older adults  are especially vulnerable.
