2022 Long Island Kidney Walk

We are excited to be walking together for the 2022 Long Island Kidney Walk on October 23 and we hope you walk with us!

Kidney Walk festivities begin at 9:00am
The event's program begins at 10:15am
We will officially start walking at 10:30am
Then join us for more fun and games!

By participating in the 2022 Long Island Kidney Walk you’ll let others know they’re not alone. Together, we’ll come together with a common purpose and walk for those who can’t. Caring knows no distance; one simple step can change a life.

Unable to attend on Sunday, October 23, 2022?
No problem! This year we are offering options to your participation – join us in person or walk your way on your own time.  No matter how you choose to walk we will all be united by our belief in the need for better care and longer lives for kidney patients – for YOU and the ones you love.

COVID-19 Alert

Your health and safety continue to be our number one priority. NKF’s staff, board of directors and healthcare advisors are closely monitoring the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.  We are currently planning to host this event in-person on Sunday, October 23, 2022.  Our safety procedures were created in accordance with state, local and federal guidelines. If a change to the current program needs to be made, we will provide you with detailed information on those changes and how we’ll be connecting the kidney community in that situation.
Please Note: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, people with underlying medical conditions and older adults  are especially vulnerable.

By attending an NKF Event, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
