WHY I WALK KM2M was created to honor my mother, Patsy Cleaves (9/29/1948-8/5/2022). My mom was a dialysis patient who received services three times a week. She would take a tote bag that held a blanket and fuzzy socks for warmth, and Tootsie Roll Pops in case her sugar dropped. Each year Mom would organize a team to support the National Kidney Foundation Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo. In her honor I, my friends and family want to continue her tradition. Are you with me?
