I first began to learn about kidney health in support of my amazing husband, who copes with a genetic kidney disease, and the list of loved ones impacted by kidney disease has sadly continued to grow since.  The truth is, kidney disease is a rising public health crisis affecting millions of people and most adults with kidney disease don't even know they have it. On June 23, 2024 I'll walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:

• In support of my husband, my cousin, three dear friends, and millions of people personally affected by kidney disease.
• To drive awareness to this incredibly under-recognized public health crisis and spread the word far and wide about basic kidney health and kidney disease prevention.
• To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors and fight for kidney equity for ALL.
• To drive innovation and access to home dialysis, transplantation and other life-changing technologies that improve the quality of life and longevity of our loved ones.
