Why We Walk

We walk to support the 35-35 objective of our friend and colleague Amos in his coping with this devastating chronic illness, (and my brother-in-law, Ken, whose first kidney transplant was one of the earliest, within the first 100, and his more recent second transplant.).

The objective (goal) is to have (at least) 35 people participate in this event for the each of the 35 years since he started dialysis.

Please consider supporting this effort with a $35.00 donation, and participating in the April 7, 2024, walk at Choctaw High School. The starting ceremony is at 11:00 am with the walk starting at 1:00 pm.  The walking goal is to complete 35 hectometers (3.5K) or about 2.2 miles..
