WHY I WALK I walk for the past, present and future patients. Patients who have expired I walk for you! Present patients that I enjoy seeing everyday I walk for you! For future patients who don't know it yet I walk for you as well. All of the survivors that have received kidneys I also walk for you! Working in a world of ESRD has been life changing for me. Today a patient said to me coming in here everyday is a lot, but you guys make it lighter for us and we appreciate that. That's all it takes to melt my heart! To be able to make the load lighter for someone is life changing.
