Why I Walk

I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come.

I grew up in a family that was deeply affected by Kidney Disease. My grandpa, Aunt, my childhood friend Derek and Dad all lost the battle with PKD. I continually support the National Kidney Foundation because I want to support families that are affected. I want to see continued advancement in medical technology so hopefully life can be easier and more comfortable while waiting on the transplant list.
