Agenda: 8:30am – Event Kicks Off 9:00am – Zumba Warm Up 9:30am – Opening Ceremony 10:00am – Cut the Ribbon and Start Walking! Walk Day FAQs 1.What is the Walk location? Citizens Bank Park: 1 Citizens Bank Way, Philadelphia, PA 19148 . 2. Is the Walk rain or shine? All Kidney Walks are rain or shine. If there are extenuating circumstances, your local NKF staff partner will have a system in place to alert you of changes 3.Where should I park? Complimentary parking is in Lot P located on the corner of Pattison Ave & Darien St. Once parked, exit the lot via the pedestrian access. Follow the orange Kidney Walk signs to First Base Gate. 4.What time should I be at the Walk? Walkers should arrive by 8:30 a.m. Zumba, snacks, mission tent and more will be ongoing until our opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. We will begin walking at 10:00am. 5.How long is the walk? We will be walking the concourse on the inside of the stadium. A full 5k will be six laps. Two laps will be one mile. 6.What should I do with any cash or checks when we arrive? Walkers who need to turn in cash or checks donations should visit the welcome tent. Anyone who is not yet registered can do so by visiting kidneywalk.org/Philadelphia or by visiting the welcome tent. 7.When does the welcome tent close? Online registration will be open until noon on Friday, September 30th. Anyone not yet registered can sign up and make a donation at the welcome tent the morning of the walk. 8.Who gets a T-shirt, and when will I get it? Every walker who individually raised $100 by September 30 will receive a Kidney Walk T-shirt mailed to their home address. If you raised $100 but did not receive your shirt yet, you can expect it in few weeks. 9.What is a good place for our team to meet? Next to the baseball player statue outside of First Base Gate. 10.Will there be food and beverages at the Walk? Yes, fruit and water will be complimentary at the food tent. We do recommend eating breakfast and drinking fluids before the Walk, as snacks are on a first come, first serve basis. 11.Is the Walk handicap accessible? Yes. Please see Citizens Bank Park staff if you need specific handicap access. 12.Are dogs welcome? Well-behaved, leash trained dogs are welcome, but you must fill out the waiver HERE. 13.Is there a hashtag I should use on social media? Yes! We love to see your photos.
