Why I Walk...

I walk and hopefully will always walk In Loving Memory of my Doodey Head aka Dad aka Mark Kevin Fenton.
I walk to bring awareness to not only Kidney Cancer but the help and options that are now available. Although my daddy lost his fight, there are a lot that are still fighting. Those people and families need support. Even if it's an "you are not alone" or a stranger to stranger hug. Cancer is horrible. It doesn't care who you are or who loves you. Cancer is not racist or gender neutral. It will and does effect everyone. And as someone who had to watch someone I love dearly, fight and fight, then fight some more to where he literally wasted away. Cancer needs a cure. Cancer treatments need to be more affordable. Families with a cancer patient, need understanding. It's ok to not be ok. It really is.

My dad had and fought, Renal Cell Carcinoma, 3 years and 4 ¹/² months.
