Hi everyone! Team Gucci is at it again this year to raise funds for the National Kidney foundation. This years leisurely kidney walk is Sunday October 23rd. We will meet at 10am and the walk starts promptly at 1015am at our NEW location at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore MD 21250.
Wear any of your color team tshirts! (red, black, white or green). This year we will not be selling t-shirts.

Almost 14 years ago, my husband Troy (Tyrone) Tillery gave his sister, Erika Jones, a kidney. Erika had a rare kidney disease called Mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis. All kidney patients are very close to my heart because, coincidently, I used to work in a dialysis center at Union Memorial hospital. For the past few years, we invited our family and friends to support and honor Erika and Troy by walking in the National Kidney walk in Baltimore. Each year I am committed with a goal to raise more money than the previous year for the foundation. Please come out on October 6th, 2019 9am to walk with us, this is a family event so please bring your children.
Why I Walk
I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come.I walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:
- To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
- To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
