Why I Walk

I walk because too many families are forced to cope with the challenging chronic illness of kidney disease. 1 in 7 American adults have chronic kidney disease in the US, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come.

I walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation, providing education, awareness and advocacy.

I walk to help drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
