Why I Walk
I walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation because I deeply believe in their work to help individuals and families experience new life through the gift of miracle kidney transplantation. I am a living donor and know first hand about that miracle. In December 2013 I had the honor and blessing of being in an 8-way transplant. Four donors and four recipients all took part in a transplantation that took place - across the country - on one day. Lives were changed. Families were impacted and blessed. And the National Kidney Foundation played a big part in that miracle. I will walk on October in support of their work.
