Why We Walk

We walk to support Trae, who was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at birth. We have been very fortunate to have amazing care with St. Louis Children's Hospital and Mercy Kids. While only 3, Trae has thrived since birth and proven to us that we can get through anything! Together, we walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:
     - To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
     - To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
     - To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.

This years St. Louis walk is on March 24, 2024.
