This is Team Mitch's Smile 4th year in the
So Cal Kidney Walk!

WHY WE WALK:
Most people who knew Mitch, know him as a positive, smiling, smart, funny and giving man. An amazing person who often gave to others, loved his family, treated everyone kindly and more. What most people don’t know is that for 10+ years his life was impacted by kidney disease and I started this page in his memory.

Why we Walk...

We walk for those who are battling kidney disease, their spouses, families, caregivers and and loved ones.

We walk for those who await a kidney transplant, those who selflessly donated their kidney and those who are kidney donors.

We walk for those on dialysis.

We walk in memory of our hero, my Dad.
Demetrio "Mitch" Barrios.
and all the others who are battling kidney disease!

Please walk with me to support the life changing work of the National Kidney Foundation:

- To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
- To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist. this cause and walk in memory of my Dad and/or someone you love.

The journey for someone diagnosed with kidney disease is long and difficult. NKF’s work helps make the journey a little easier for those living with kidney disease, as well as those who care for and about them.

Your donation will honor my dads battle with kidney disease and spread hope for the future. It will also help raise vital awareness to people at risk for kidney disease, so they do not have to go through what my dad went through. Although my dad is no longer with us, his 10+ year battle with kidney disease is something that my family will remember forever.

Every donation is meaningful to me and each donation is made in memory of him. I would be grateful for your support to help fight kidney disease!
