Why I Walk
I have been in Dialysis for over 30 years. My patients have become like a family to me. It's painful to watch what they go through. Most need to give up their jobs to accommodate the Dialysis schedule. I watch them hope and wait for years for a kidney transplant. They struggle to pay for transportation to get to their treatments. They struggle to pay for medications. Some cannot even afford to pay to keep the lights on. Every penny helps. Please also consider Becoming a donor. YOU CAN'T TAKE YOUR ORGANS WITH YOU.
