Why I Walk

I walk because I've been blessed to have two transplants - one from a deceased donor in 2007 and one from a living donor, Jana Cook, in 2021.  

The National Kidney Foundation is instrumental in supporting legislation that helps patients and donors live their best lives.  The National Kidney Foundation is the go-to for all people who have questions related to CKD.  The National Kidney Foundation is the driving force behind transplantation innovation to help give more people the gift of life.
