Why I WalkMy mother has been suffering from End Stage Renal Disease for over 2 years now and is on dialysis. Last year she was in the hospital intubated and we received a miracle that blessed us with her presence still in our lives while the odds were stacked against her. She currently lives with me while she goes through this life changing and difficult process that leaves her weak at times. I would like to do more for her and for the community struggling with this battle. Please donate if you can, any amount is helpful in spreading the word on kidney disease.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance!!
I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come.
I walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation:
- To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers.
- To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors.
- To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist.
Are you with me?
Please consider supporting my efforts with a generous donation.
