WHY I WALK First, thank you to everyone that has supported our efforts through the years and also to those that are new! The National Kidney Foundation is well run and makes significant impacts on those affected by kidney disease and other kidney related illnesses. As many of you know, our son Jonathan suffers from Kidney disease and other kidney related ailments. When we first learned of this and our journey began through subsequent surgeries, we realized that helping others with their own journey is important to us. I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come.
