WHY I WALK I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come. I walk to support my father who is currently on dialysis and did the memory of my 2 uncles who pasted away from this condition before I was even born. I'm currently trying to become a donor for my father but a cure would be better, seeing that it runs in my family my father won't be the last patient we have.
