My 2022 Dallas Fort-Worth Kidney Walk Fundraising Page

WHY I WALK Hello my name is Jeremy Hilburn. In June 2014 I was placed on dialysis. I was on dialysis for 4 years before the best and worst miracle occurred in my life.

My father passed away suddenly in March 2018, 2 days after he passed away I was given one of his kidneys. I often say my father gave me life twice. This is both amazing and heartbreaking. My father is an amazing man who always put himself before others. These values got instilled in me by both my parents. The NKF stepped in initially and helped with care, I didn't have to think about anything care, treatment and doctors just showed up. I will be forever grateful. This is why I walk, I hope you join me and countless others raising money and awareness through the National Kidney Foundation.

I walk because too many families (like mine) are coping with this devastating chronic illness, and thousands more will face an unexpected kidney disease diagnosis in the year to come.

I walk to support the lifechanging work of the National Kidney Foundation: - To ensure that families will have a place to turn when they need answers. - To keep up the fight for policy changes to protect kidney patients and living donors. - To drive innovation in transplantation and get more loved ones off the kidney transplant waitlist. Are you with me? PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING MY EFFORTS WITH A GENEROUS DONATION.
